Five Kalimas (or Kalimahs) are essential declarations of faith in Islam that summarize core beliefs and the relationship between the creator and the believer. While there are six widely recognized Kalimas, the first five are often the focus of early religious education in South Asian communities to help children and new believers memorize key tenets.
