Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion (2018) remains the most significant open-world RPG for the franchise. While no "new" sequel has been released recently, the game has seen a resurgence in discussion due to the 2026 return of the Adventure Time series. The "New" for 2025/2026
To traverse the soggy landscape, our heroes commandeer a rickety old boat, naming it "Jeffrey." The gameplay loop is a delightful mix of open-world sailing and classic RPG exploration. You’ll sail between the flooded remnants of the Ice Kingdom, the Fire Kingdom, and the Candy Kingdom, solving puzzles and helping locals to uncover the mystery behind the rising tides.
Step 3: Talk to the Gnome in the Alley
On the east side of the Plaza (previously blocked by a crate), there is a new NPC: "Gnome Plaza." He trades "Enchiridion Pages" for "Bitter Bits." Trading him 5 pages unlocks the "New Wave" cannon, which fires gelatinous projectiles that slow enemy ships.
BMO, acting as lookout, beeped. “Finn! Jake! Horizon! It looks like... a mall parking lot?”
“Jake, are you sure this is the right direction?” Finn asked, squinting at a map drawn on a napkin that smelled faintly of bacon pancakes.
Jake, stretched into a human-sized hammock between the mast and the crow’s nest, yawned. “The Sea Witch said ‘head past the Gumball Guardian Shoals until the water tastes like regret, then take a hard left.’ We took the left, man.”
