Context First: What Are the Jack the Ripper Chests?
In the Jack the Ripper expansion (set 20 years after the main game), London’s Whitechapel district becomes a fog-drenched nightmare. Alongside new missions and fear mechanics, Ubisoft added 32 collectible chests (sometimes listed as 29 depending on version/platform). These aren’t just random loot boxes—each contains Letters from Hell (diary excerpts from Jack) and other thematic items. Phase 3: The Execution
Once you have 4 keys, start opening chests. If a chest is guarded by a "Terror" zone, use the Volatile Knife (Upgrade Evie’s Fear skill tree first). Throw it into a group of enemies to make them flee, giving you a 10-second window to pick the lock.
