The Autronic Mistral 2 software is abandonware. No company currently sells licenses, and Autronic’s original EULA has no active enforcement. However, distributing modified or cracked versions is illegal. The downloads shared in enthusiast forums are typically the original, unmodified installers. If you are a professional tuner, consider donating to legacy ECU preservation projects or purchasing a used ECU that includes a software transfer.
These sources often provide the last stable version of the software for free or with a product registration check. Contact them directly for a download link.
5. Installation & Initial Configuration
