Abstract
This paper presents the fourth version (v4) of the CD Reef model developed by CSTB, an integrated tool for designing, testing, and optimizing artificial reef structures for coastal defense and ecological enhancement. Version 4 introduces improved wave transmission coefficients, porous flow modeling, and biodiversity integration. Validation is performed using large-scale wave flume experiments (2020–2021).
