Installation & Setup (Portable)
- Copy the ChessBase 10 program folder from an installed machine or from the original distribution media to the USB drive.
- Ensure all required runtime files (DLLs, program EXE, settings folders) are present in the folder.
- Create a shortcut to the main executable on the USB drive root for easy launch.
- Optionally, store databases (.cbh/.pgn) in a dedicated folder on the USB for organization.
- To use engines, place engine executables on the USB and configure their paths in ChessBase’s engine management.
