Originally conceived as a simple Cold War extension, NWO2 has evolved into the most comprehensive modern-day simulator available for the DH engine.

Important Note

Most modern-day mods for DH are unfinished or beta because the scale is enormous. The "top" experience is often the most stable version — typically NWO2 version 1.7 or 1.8.

While the Modern Day MOD Top has been well-received, it's not without its challenges. The MOD's developers face ongoing issues, such as balancing gameplay and ensuring compatibility with future updates to the base game. However, the community remains optimistic, and with continued support and development, the MOD is poised to remain a top contender in the Darkest Hour community.
