In EDIUS X, you can "generate" a paper look or "deep paper" effect primarily by using external paper texture overlays combined with internal tools like the Blending Modes
- Go to
Settings > User Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts. - Search for "Ripple Delete." If you don't like
Shift+Del, change it toX. - Search for "Nest." Map it to
Ctrl+Nto easily group tracks into a virtual clip.

- Creating a new project

- Pro Tip: If you aren't sure what settings to use, simply drag your first video clip into the timeline. EDIUS will ask if you want to change the project settings to match the clip. Click Yes. This ensures your timeline matches your footage perfectly (frame rate, resolution, etc.).
