4.2 Category-Specific Criteria
- Technical: API, ASME, ASTM certifications; proven track record with similar capacity (e.g., refinery throughput).
- Financial: Minimum annual turnover (e.g., $1M–$10M depending on category); audited financial statements.
- HSE: Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) below industry average; environmental permits.
- ICV (In-Country Value): For UAE-based contracts, vendors must submit ICV certificate and plan to boost local manufacturing / employment.
- Validity Period: Registration status is typically valid for a period of three (3) years, subject to satisfactory performance reviews.
- Audits: Vendors may be subject to random audits or surveillance to ensure continued compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.
- Suspension/Removal: Vendors may be suspended or removed from the list due to unethical practices, inability to meet delivery requirements, or lapses in safety compliance.
