Common Issues When Activating a New License Key

Even with a legitimate key, you may hit roadblocks. Here are frequent problems and solutions:

Method A: Using the GUI (Easiest)

Activate: After payment (approx. €150/year), you will receive an email with your license data. Copy this data, go back to your EVE Pro Licensing tab, and select License Upload to activate. Re-install and re-host EVE-PRO license - - EVE-NG

  1. Expired Subscriptions: Many early Pro adopters are now seeing their annual or perpetual licenses expire and need a fresh key.
  2. Upgrading from Community: As network labs grow more complex (e.g., 5G, SD-WAN, multi-cloud), the free version no longer suffices.
  3. Corporate Compliance: Businesses are moving away from cracked or shared keys to legitimate, auditable licenses.

Licensing is based on concurrent parallel sessions. For example, if 10 users need simultaneous access, 10 licenses are required. Licenses are valid for from the date of purchase.
