- Fuel Load: You can choose your fuel load for qualifying. A lighter car is faster but means you will pit earlier in the race.
- Flying Lap: You must weave the tires to get heat into them (the "Formation Lap" screen helps visualize this).
8. Technical Performance
- Frame Rate: The game runs at a solid 30 FPS. It rarely drops, even with all 22 cars on screen.
- Loading Times: The UMD version has decent loading times. If playing on a modded PSP or PS Vita via digital installation (ISO), the loading times are nearly instant.
