Installing or updating firmware on the Tecno Spark 30C is generally aimed at fixing bugs, improving the 120Hz display's fluency, or unbricking devices. While the official Online Update method is seamless, manual "flashing" (installing the full ROM) requires technical precision.

Step 3: Load Scatter File

• Open flash_tool.exe (run as admin).
• Click Scatter-loading → navigate to firmware folder → select MT****_Android_scatter.txt.

Click the green “Download” button. The tool waits for a connection.

Power off your Tecno Spark 30C completely. Wait 10 seconds.

Remove the battery (if possible) for 5 seconds, then reinsert it.

Connect the phone to the PC using the USB cable.

The PC will make a ding-dong sound. The SP Flash Tool’s red bar will appear → purple → yellow. This is the flashing process.

Wait for a green “OK” checkmark. Disconnect the phone and power it on. First boot takes 5–10 minutes.

• Use “Download Only” for upgrading the same version.
• Use “Format All + Download” for fixing a corrupted partition table or upgrading Android version. Warning: This erases the IMEI (you can rewrite it with a tool like SN Writer later).
