Overview

ORBX FTX Global VECTOR v1.20 is an update to ORBX’s global vector scenery product for Microsoft Flight Simulator X (FSX) and Prepar3D (P3D). It enhances worldwide landclass, roads, coastlines, rivers, railways and airport polygon data to produce more accurate, cleaner, and higher-fidelity global vector features that integrate with ORBX region packs and third‑party sceneries.

Installation Method 1: Via ORBX Central (Recommended)

  1. Open ORBX Central and log into your account.
  2. Navigate to My Products.
  3. Find Global Vector.
  4. If an update is available, you will see a blue "Update" button. Click it.
  5. Crucially: Uncheck "Enable Background Downloads" to avoid file corruption.
  6. Let the v120_upd package download (approx. 1.8GB).
  7. Once installed, do not fly yet.

Infrastructure: Precise placement of power lines, tram lines, railway yards, and even golf courses or city parks. Open ORBX Central and log into your account

  1. Go to your main sim folder: \ORBX\Vector\
  2. Run Vector_Config.exe.
  3. A map of the world will appear with checkboxes.

  5. Close the tool.
