Step 7 – Using Malo
With the essence in your inventory:
Trap Layout (compact piston trap)
- Build a 3x3 floor pit one block deep; center is spawn/holding cell.
- Surround edges with solid blocks; place pistons on two opposite sides facing the center to push a center block or entity.
- Place sticky pistons above if you need to lift or reposition a block to expose a spawn space.
- Cover the pit with a thin gap mechanism (use slabs or half-steps) so the spawn algorithm favors the center (if applicable).
