Mathcad 14 __top__ Access
Mathcad 14 represents a significant milestone in the software's history, as it was the first major release after PTC acquired Mathsoft in 2006
- Interface: Mathcad 14 has toolbars; Prime uses a Microsoft Office-style Ribbon.
- Calculation Method: Mathcad 14 uses a strictly "Top-Left to Bottom-Right" calculation order. Mathcad Prime allows for "Inline Calculation" (calculations happening on the same line from left to right).
- Backwards Compatibility: Mathcad Prime can convert and open Mathcad 14 files (.xmcd), but Mathcad 14 cannot open Prime files (.mcdx).
