Minecraft 1.7.10 Xp Farm | Exclusive
Minecraft 1.7.10 is widely considered the "Golden Age" of modded Minecraft. While modern versions have changed mob spawning mechanics (like the villager workstations), 1.7.10 relies on classic mechanics that are arguably easier to exploit for massive XP gains.
Step 2: Building the Killing Chamber
- Create a narrow, 1-block wide channel leading from the spawning platform to the killing chamber.
- The killing chamber should be at least 3 blocks tall and 1 block wide.
- Add a layer of lava or water at the bottom of the killing chamber to kill the mobs.
Step 3: The Drop Chute. Dig a vertical shaft 22.5 blocks deep. minecraft 1.7.10 xp farm
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for your XP farm, ideally near your base or a convenient spot. Ensure the area is well-lit to prevent mob spawns.
- Design the Farm: Create a large, enclosed area (at least 3x3 blocks) with a high ceiling. This will be the main chamber for your XP farm.
- Add Water: Place water buckets in the chamber, creating a flow that directs mobs towards a central point.
- Spawner Setup: If using a mob spawner, place it in the center of the chamber. If not, create a spawning platform using stone or dirt blocks.
- Redstone Mechanism: Design a Redstone mechanism to activate the farm. This can include a pressure plate, a button, or a timer.
- Kill Chamber: Create a kill chamber, where mobs will be eliminated, dropping experience points. This can be a simple drop chamber or a more complex design using lava or cacti.
- Collection Area: Build a collection area, where experience points will be gathered. This can be a simple platform or a more complex design using Hoppers and chests.
