Monarch NEMS (NICE Elevator Management System) is proprietary software used for monitoring, parameter setting, and troubleshooting Monarch NICE series elevator controllers (like the NICE3000 and NICE1000). Because it is specialized industrial equipment software, it is not typically available for public download from official manufacturer websites. 🛠️ Common Ways to Obtain the Software

  • Up to 2 TB of performance data.
  • Auto-partitioning for faster query responses.
  • Built-in data purging policies compliant with GDPR and SOX.

Installation Steps:

  1. Flash the Image: Open Balena Etcher. Select the nems-v2.4...img file. Select your SD card. Click "Flash!" Wait for validation.
  2. Boot NEMS: Insert the SD card into your Pi or Orange Pi. Connect Ethernet (required for first boot) and power. The device will auto-expand the filesystem and reboot.
  3. Find Your NEMS IP: Check your router’s DHCP client list for a device named "NEMS" or note the IP on an attached HDMI monitor.
  4. Initial Web Setup: Open a browser and go to http://[NEMS_IP]. Default credentials:

    • Users looking for a user-friendly interface and advanced features
    1. NEMS Tweak 2.0: A terminal-based configuration tool that allows you to adjust overclocking, fan control, and power settings without touching command line.

    3. Nagios Core 4.4.6: This core upgrade brought faster processing and better performance graphing.
