• SATA II (3Gb/s): It has SATA ports, but they are limited to SATA II speeds. This means modern SATA III SSDs will run at half speed (maxing out around 250-280 MB/s).
• The IDE Port: Interestingly, the board retains a legacy IDE (PATA) connector (the wide ribbon cable slot). This makes the MS-7613 a golden board for retro gaming builds. You can hook up older IDE hard drives or optical drives without needing adapter cards, while still running a modern-ish Core 2 Duo CPU.
