If you’re using Multiecuscan with an ELM327 adapter (2021 setup), use these settings for reliable connection and diagnostics:

Latency Timer (msec): This is the most important step. Change the value from the default 16 to 1. Save and Exit: Click OK on all windows. 2. Configure MultiEcuScan (MES) Software multiecuscan elm327 port settings 2021

• Port: COM3, COM4, or COM5 (depending on your device)
• Baudrate: 115200
• Timeout: 1000

• Connection failed: Check the COM port, Baudrate, and Protocol settings. Ensure the Elm327 adapter is properly connected to the vehicle's OBD-II port.
• Incorrect data readings: Verify the Baudrate and Protocol settings. Adjust the Timeout value if necessary.
• Vehicle not responding: Check the vehicle's OBD-II port for damage or corrosion. Ensure the ignition is turned on and the engine is not running.

3. If any line says “Slow response” – increase baud rate or lower latency.
