Omsi 2 Volvo 8700 Work

The Volvo 8700 for is currently a high-profile Work in Progress (WIP) project led by developers like nano and nerokatti. Because it has not been officially released as a finished, standalone freeware or DLC, "making it work" usually refers to following its development or using existing project files if you are a beta tester. Current Status of the Volvo 8000-Series Project As of early 2025, the project includes several variations:

• Digital destination display controller (LAWO or similar).
• Functional ECAS (kneeling, door-side lowering).
• Realistic switch layout (hazard lights, wipers, retarder, diff lock).

• Downloading user-created content: The OMSI 2 community is active and vibrant, with many talented creators sharing their own custom bus models, including the Volvo 8700. Players can browse online forums and marketplaces to find and download the model.
• Purchasing the model: Some creators offer their bus models for purchase, either as a one-time transaction or through a subscription-based service.
• Creating the model from scratch: For experienced players, it's also possible to create the Volvo 8700 model from scratch using OMSI 2's built-in editing tools.
