  1. Download the QMG Tool: Go to GitHub and search “samsung-qmg-converter.” Download the latest release .exe file.
  2. Run the Converter: Double-click the .exe (you may need to allow admin rights).
  3. Input File: Click “Browse” and select your .qmg file.
  4. Set Output: Choose a destination folder and select “PNG” as output.
  5. Convert: Click “Convert.” The program will decrypt the layers.
  6. View: Navigate to the output folder. Open the PNG files with IrfanView (recommended for bulk viewing) or the built-in Windows Photos app.

Using IrfanView (Windows) with Plugins IrfanView is a legendary lightweight viewer. While it doesn't open QMG out of the box, its extensive plugin pack sometimes allows it to interpret the raw data.
