Unlike Quark 7 and earlier, version 9.2.0.2 fully supports OpenType features (ligatures, swashes, contextual alternates) and Unicode fonts. This is crucial for multi-language publishing (Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic script works stable). QuarkXPress 9.2.0.2 Portable

1. No Retina / HiDPI Support: On a 4K monitor, the UI becomes impossibly tiny. You will need to lower your screen resolution to 1920x1080.
2. Font management issues: It does not natively support Adobe Fonts (formerly Typekit) or cloud fonts. It only reads Windows-installed fonts (.ttf, .otf, .pfm).
3. Modern file incompatibility: You cannot open a .qxp file saved by QuarkXPress 2018 or newer without exporting down to version 9 first.
4. No M1/M2 Mac support: This is Windows-only. To run on a modern Mac, you need Parallels + Windows ARM + 32-bit emulation (slow).
