3. Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Phase 1: The Beginning (Kathtom)

1. The Apartment: Start by checking Rance’s apartment. You will meet Sill Plain, his slave mage, who will serve as your main support.
2. The Guild: Go to the Adventurer’s Guild to accept the initial quest regarding Hikari.
3. Gathering Intel: Visit the town’s shops and the Castle. In the remake, you will meet the ninja Kanami at the castle gates.
4. First Dungeon: Head to the Forest or Slums (depending on version) to fight low-level monsters.

   This is the game-changer. Your simple rescue mission is now a quest against a Demon King.

   1. Kayblis Tactics: The Demon Army respawns troops every turn. You cannot win a war of attrition.
   2. The Gigai (Giants): Use the Gigai units you captured/recruited earlier. They are the only units that can stand toe-to-toe with high-tier demons.
   3. Satella: One of the few "Good" Demons. Save her during the Monster Realm events to get a powerful ally.
