Router Zte F6640 | 2025 |
The ZTE ZXHN F6640 is a high-performance GPON Optical Network Terminal (ONT) designed for Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) setups. Unlike standard "off-the-shelf" routers, this "all-in-one" gateway converts optical fiber signals directly into high-speed internet, voice, and media services. 🚀 Key Performance Specs
Important Note for Power Users:
Unlike many ISP routers, the F6640 supports Link Aggregation (802.3ad). If you have a NAS or a high-end PC with two network ports, you can combine two of the GE ports to get a 2Gbps wired connection to a single device, bypassing the 1Gbps limit of a single port. router zte f6640
Administrators can manage the device through multiple interfaces: Access: Typical login via web browser at 192.168.1.1. The ZTE ZXHN F6640 is a high-performance GPON
: Often equipped with high-gain antennas to improve signal penetration through walls compared to internal designs. DriniaTech Management & Security Remote Management : Supports 2.4 GHz: 2x2 MIMO
Problem 2: Wi-Fi Drops Intermittently
- Cause: Channel congestion or DFS interference (radar detection).
- Fix: Log into the GUI. Under Wi-Fi settings, change the 5GHz channel from "Auto" to a fixed channel (e.g., 36 or 149). Disable "Auto Channel Selection."
USB 3.0 Support: Features one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port. The USB 3.0 interface allows for file sharing at speeds up to 10x faster than its predecessor, capable of transferring Blu-ray films in minutes.
