For the uninitiated, Straitened Times is a turn-based/real-time hybrid set in a fictional post-credit economy. You play as a "Quartermaster" of a decaying municipal district. Unlike city-builders where you sculpt metropolises, here you manage a single tenement block with a failing infrastructure. The goal is not to thrive; it is to stave off dissolution for 365 in-game days.
