While there is no fixed, mandatory dua for Taraweeh in the Quran or Sunnah, it is common practice to recite specific supplications (often called Tasbih-e-Taraweeh) during the breaks between every four rakats.
So, why use a PDF?

- Holding the PDF during Qiyam: Do not hold the paper while standing (Qiyam). Keep it on the floor or a small stand in front of you. The hands should be free for Qiyam (folded) and Ruku/Sujood.
- Raising Hands for Dua: Unlike the Dua after Adhan or during Rain, we do not raise our hands for this Tasbeeh. It is recited quietly while sitting.
- Forgetting the Quran: The Dua is a supplement (Sunnah), not the core. The primary purpose of Taraweeh is to listen to the Quran. Do not be so busy looking at the Dua PDF that you lose focus on the Imam’s recitation.
