When The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launched in 2023, it shattered records and pushed the aging Nintendo Switch hardware to its absolute limits. However, behind the physical cartridges and digital eShop downloads lies a specific file format that has become the center of the preservation and emulation community: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - NSP.

  • Cause: A bad shader cache or an outdated GPU driver on PC.
  • Fix: Clear the shader cache folder in Ryujinx (File > Open AppData > bis > shader). On Yuzu, delete the vulkan_pipelines.bin.
