Eloise knew TWK Lausanne. It was a ghost in the machine. In 1999, a Swiss typographer named Henrik Vaud had designed a geometric sans-serif for the Lausanne University of Art and Design. It was meant to be the Helvetica of the new millennium: clean, rational, but with a strange, almost biological curve to the lowercase 'a'.
