1. Remember these golden rules:

   • Use FTP to download /etc, /usr, /var, /boot and any plugin/config files.
   • If you have telnet/ssh shell, create a tarball:

     tar -czf /tmp/vu_solo2_backup_YYYYMMDD.tar.gz /etc /usr /var /boot
     

   • Copy the tarball to your PC via FTP or SCP.
