In the landscape of real-time strategy (RTS) gaming, few titles command the reverence of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. For over 15 years, the game existed in a state of near-stasis, with version 1.26 being the competitive standard for the better part of a decade. However, in 2019, Blizzard Entertainment released Patch 1.31, a massive overhaul that served as the bridge between the classic game and the ill-fated Warcraft III: Reforged.
