There is no official native PC port of WWE 2K14. Despite its critical acclaim and status as a series favorite, the game remains a console exclusive for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
For those of us who lived through it, WWE 2K14 remains the high-water mark of the franchise. The fluid reversal system, the nostalgic love letter to WrestleMania, and the sheer joy of hitting a perfect Attitude Adjustment through the announcer's table—these are memories trapped on a disc that requires a controller plugged into a 12-year-old console.

The crown jewel of the game was the 30 Years of WrestleMania mode. Unlike the showcase modes of today (which are often glitchy or rely on "slingshot tech"), the 2014 version told linear, historical stories using a hybrid of CGI cutscenes and actual match footage. It allowed players to relive Hulk Hogan slamming Andre the Giant, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin bleeding during the Bret Hart submission match, and The Rock battling John Cena. A straight PC port would be easier, but 2K has no financial incentive. They want you buying WWE 2K24 and its MyFaction microtransactions, not a $20 classic from a decade ago.

The negative reception of the PC port led to a stronger emphasis on improving the situation for future 2K Sports titles, particularly with the move to the WWE 2K series' more recent releases which have seen better reception on PC.
