Product: Milestone XProtect Smart Client 2022 R2
Architecture: 64-bit (x64)
Type: Client-side VMS (Video Management Software) interface
Purpose: Provides end-user access to live video, playback, investigation, and export functions for Milestone XProtect VMS servers (Corporate, Expert, Professional, Express+, etc.)

Security & Compatibility Advisory

• TLS: Server must have TLS 1.2 enabled; older SSL/TLS 1.0/1.1 will fail.
• Antivirus: Exclude C:\Program Files\Milestone\XProtect Smart Client and %ProgramData%\Milestone from real-time scanning.

Step 3: Welcome & License Agreement

• Click "Next."
• Accept the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
• Note: The free "XProtect Essential+" client requires a license agreement acceptance. Corporate versions will validate against your server.

6. Uninstall

Via GUI:
