Important note: The game does not natively support ultrawide. It renders with pillarboxes (black bars on the sides). This fix removes them and fixes FOV, HUD placement, and cutscenes.

Advanced: Custom HUD Scaling (for 32:9 or super ultrawide)

In FFVIIFix.ini, add:

Search for the Plugin: Open the app, scan the list of supported games on the left, and click on Final Fantasy VII Remake.

What does this do? It changes the game's math from "Maintain Horizontal FOV" (which causes cropping) to "Maintain Vertical FOV." In simple terms: You will now see more on the sides without losing anything on the top and bottom.
